Keys to Dynamic Composition

I am taking an online workshop and trying to use my iPad to post to the blog.  For some reason I don't seem to be able to post on the composition blog so I am going to post my projects here to see if it works.
Our first exercise was to make painted papers to create a collage in the grid format. I started painting and ended up with a full color wheel of painted papers.

Revisiting my blog

so, I'm going to take an online art class with Jane Davies and it has been a whole since I have blogged as you can see.   I am posting to try to make since of getting photos on that aren't too big and don't go all over the place or don't show up.  You do need to work on this more often than once a year!

Sketchbook practice

I'm taking Jane Davies "Sketchbook Practice" online class.  Two weeks so far.  We did circles last week.  I am a little behind on a few of the lessons but here are a few of the things I have tried.  Lines the first week and circles last week.  Week 3 we will work with shape.  Such fun!

First, lines.  Different weight and markers or pencils

Last week I entered the WGAS of Mobile Spring Show. To my surprise, I received the award for the Best Watercolor.  I am so excited.  Here it is!
